About the Club

The Gordon Setter Club Of Victoria was formed in 1976 and was the first club dedicated to the breed in Australia. There are still a small number of the original committee members serving today.

The Club conducts various events throughout the year including a Championship Show, an Open Show, a restricted to gundogs Obedience Trial, a Field trial training day, an fun day and many, many more.

For details of upcoming events please refer to our ‘Activities/Events’ page.

The Gordon Setter Club Of Victoria fully supports responsible breeding practices and encourages all members to score their dogs for hip dysplasia.  Prior to the Club accepting any litter notice for publishing or giving any referrals for a litter, both the sire and dam of the litter must be hip and elbows scored and LO-PRA dna test results submitted

If you would like to join the club or require further information please contact our Club Secretary Sue Natoli at suenatoli@hotmail.com
